Shapes are two-dimensioal (2-D) and are organic or geometric in character. Organic shapes have hard to measure curved angles that create the outlines of living things, like the edges of flowers and leaves.
Geometric shapes have easy to measure angles inside corners and arcs, like you find in squares, rectangles, triangles, and cirlces.
